Lessons Taught and Lessons Learned

It’s a New Year Everyone!

I greet 2018 with the mindset of; well, to be more exact, 2018 greeted me with a hard push into the mindset of knowing what’s too much for you and knowing what’s too little for you.

Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith, founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, California said,  “Pain pushes you until vision pulls you.”

I have taught many lessons and learned many lessons as I served in various capacities such as a Daughter, Sister, Niece, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, Girlfriend, Wife, Mother/Nina, Daughter-In-Law, Mother-In-Law, Sister-In-Law, Grandmother/MiMi, Student, Teacher, a Lightworker, and a Child of the Universe.

However, one of the biggest and challenging lessons that the Universe is pulling me toward in 2018 is to revisit the lessons on knowing what’s too much for you and knowing what’s too little and to be able to recognize then accept what’s just right for you.

My mantra for my meditation practice this year is the Serenity Prayer:

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

What vision is the Universe pulling you to visit or revisit this New Year of 2018?  How are you going to keep up with your God given vision?

As the song goes, I’ll pray for you and you pray for me and watch how God changes things.  Let’s feel the Universal20140824_124518 pull whether it’s a hard push, or a gentle nudge, so we may grow more in the flow of our passion and purpose that the Universe is pulling us into.

Soulfully Speaking,

Hadiah

  1. Such a beautiful post! I enjoyed reading it and will take notice to MY “just right”… This remind me of characters in Three Little Bears- too big, too small, too hot, too cold, and finally- just right. Finding my “just right” space is going to be great in 2018. Thank you for sharing, always.

    1. TS, thanks for your beautiful comment! Yes, those little stories like the Three Little Bears do teach us a lot about finding our “just right “ space. Here’s to finding our sweet-spot in 2018 !

      Peace,
      Hadiah
